Robert S. Barkhaus, Ph.D.
Dr. Barkhaus is qualified to be a Vocational Expert (VE) by virtue of his education, knowledge, and work experience. He has testified in over 4,200 cases before Administrative Law Judges and in local, state, and federal courts.

Knowledge:
From his Ph.D. to present, Dr. Barkhaus has conducted personal career/job search counseling and has studied and researched the world of work. He has published many books/articles in the career field and has made over 40 state and national presentations.
Dr. Barkhaus is a charter member with diplomat status of the American Board of Vocational Experts. To achieve diplomat status requires an advanced degree plus seven years experience and demonstrated distinguished performance as a Vocational Expert.
Work Experience:
Dr. Barkhaus has over 33 years of professional experience in the career counseling and job placement field. He served 11 years at IPFW as the Director of Counseling, Testing, and Placement Services. He is owner and president of National Career Consultants, Inc., a professional outplacement services firm, and co-founder of The Center for Human Resources. He has personally helped over 3,800 individuals find new jobs after being terminated or downsized from their positions.
